Letsholonyane moved to Chiefs from Jomo Cosmos in 2008 and has since won seven cups with the Glamour Boys, including two league titles, both under former coach Stuart Baxter.

The 33-year-old became the backbone of the Amakhosi midfield after the departure of Tinashe Nengomasha and together with the likes of Siphiwe Tshabalala and George Lebese, formed one of the strongest centre partnerships during the club’s cup rout with Baxter.

He made his debut for Bafana Bafana in 2008 and was part of the squad in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the 2013 and 2015 Africa Cup of Nations – and boasts over 50 caps for South Africa.

Letsholonyane’s club career began in 2002 with Hellenic, thereafter he joined Dangerous Darkies for a year, following that up with a move to the then National first Division side PJ Stars until he reunited with Jomo Sono in 2006.letso
