Lehlohonolo Majoro set to leave Orlando Pirates

has learnt that Orlando Pirated are set to part ways with striker Lehlohonolo Majoro before the end of this week.

Majoro is amongst the players left behind in Johannesburg as Pirates get ready to settle down for pre-season training in the North West.

Yasser Mugwera, Felipe Ovono and Rooi Mahamutsa are some of the other players left behind to train on their own while the rest of the squad prepares for the new season.

‘Major’ is not part of coach Muhsin Ertugral’s plans for next season.

“Majoro is leaving Pirates,” confirms the source. “In fact, he is good as gone. The coach has only taken the players he intends to work with next season to pre-season camp.”

Bloemfontein Celtic have been chasing the former Kaizer Chiefs striker for the past few weeks but have been unable to secure a deal.

Ugandan midfielder Yasser Mugerwa is set to leave Orlando Pirates after he was left out of the squad for their pre-season training camp in Potchefstroom.

Mugwera is among a few other players at Pirates set for the exit door including Lehlohonolo Majoro, Felipe Ovono, Rooi Mahamutsa, Lehlohonolo Masalesa, Thandani Ntshumayelo and Sifiso Myeni.
