Teko Modise says he hopes to remain at Mamelodi Sundowns until the end of his playing days.
Modise’s contract at the Brazilians is up at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen if the Brazilians will offer him a new deal.
But the 33 year-old Modise tells Phakaaathi that he wants to stay at the club he has served with distinction since joining at the end of the January transfer window in 2011.
“The plan is that (to stay),” said Modise on Thursday.
“I am not a player to hop and change teams, I just hope I will retire here in the next two seasons or so. But also, it is not up to me, everyone has to play for their contract, and this is the last season (of his current deal) at Sundowns. We will see if they renew my contract or not.”
