Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of a new player from Chippa United.

As predicted by the Siya crew, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Joseph Molangoane from Chippa United.

The crew reported yesterday that the midfielder had won his case against his former club and was now free to join any other interested party, and that Chiefs were expected to announce his signature imminently.

Molangoane has been locked in a battle with his old employers since last season as he argued that he had not signed a contract extension at the club, and after he originally had things ruled against him, this week it was revealed that he was free to join any club of his choice.

The 28-year-old will wear the number 23 jersey at Naturena, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to make his debut against his former club this weekend.

Now, after a two-and-a-half year contract until 2019 was agreed, the player has been unveiled.
