Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Steve Komphela, has revealed what he told his players at halftime, as he was not pleased with their first-half display.
Goals from Bernard Parker, Joseph Molangoane and a fine strike from Willard Katsande sealed AmaKhosi’s 3-2 win over Polokwane City.
“I’m just happy for these people, I wish you could have been in the dressing room,” Komphela said after the game.
“In the first half, we didn’t look like people who were playing for Chiefs. I know we’re going through trying times but at least show something.
“I was asking them in the dressing room, there is people sitting on top of us, do we think they deserve what we are giving on the ground? and the response was no.
“I said it’s not good enough, we got to go out on that field and show.”
