The Siya crew has been informed that Mamelodi Sundowns’ Anthony Laffor hasn’t signed for Kaizer Chiefs at this stage, but that it could be on the cards.
Laffor, who turns 32 next month, will see his current contract with the Brazilians expire at the end of the season and as of January 1 was able to open up talks with any other interested parties regarding a precontract.
The Liberian has been linked with a move to Naturena for a long time now, however up until this stage he has remained loyal to Sundowns and went on to play a vital role in their many successes in 2016.
Now, according to Siya sources, there seems to be a very real chance that the attacker could make the switch from Tshwane to Soweto, although at this stage has not made a decision on his future.
Laffor has scored 17 Absa Premiership goals for Sundowns in the six years since his move from SuperSport United back in 2011.
