Macha Leaves Chiefs, Returns To Zambia

Macha : According to reports in Zambia, Lewis Macha has left Kaizer Chiefs and signed a two-year contract back home.

The striker has struggled to live up to expectations at Naturena since his move at the start of the season, and according to the Zambian Daily Mail he has signed a two-year contract with Nkwazi. The news was confirmed to them by club secretary, Davy Chimbwelenge.

Macha has played six games in the league and cup since scoring in the Carling Black Label Cup against Orlando Pirates, however, is yet to score his first competitive goal for the club.

The Siya crew is attempting to seek confirmation of the player’s reported exit, however have been informed that the player trained with the club in Potchefstroom yesterday before their return to Johannesburg.
