Orlando Pirates could decide to part ways with Ayanda Nkosi and Mahlatse Makudubela, if there is no improvement in the situation of the two players at the club.
As reported in edition 1016 of Soccer Laduma, Nkosi and Makudubela are facing an uncertain future at the club due to their lack of game time this season.
The two players, who are in their first season with Pirates, have not quite lived up to expectations since joining the Soweto giants. According to sources, the duo could be affected by the changes expected to take place at Pirates at the end of the season, as Kjell Jonevret and his technical team will be planning their squad for next season.
Nkosi joined Bucs from Free State Stars alongside Justice Chabalala and Sello Japhta. With Chabalala and Japhta having been loaned to Chippa United halfway through their first season with Bucs, it is believed that a move away from Pirates for Nkosi is also looming.
The forward was linked with a move back to Ea Lla Koto when the club’s former coach Giovanni Solinas was still with the Bethlehem-based outfit.
Stars have also been linked with Makudubela in the past, while the skillful player was also said to be on the radar of a few other PSL clubs – including Arrows and Chippa.
Both Nkosi and Makudubela are yet to feature for Jonevret at Bucs since the Swedish coach’s arrival at the club last month.
