Pitso: Maybe The Own Goal Was The Only Way Chiefs Could Beat Us

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes it was unfortunate how they lost to Kaizer Chiefs, claiming ‘maybe that’s the only way they can beat us’.
Bangaly Soumahoro’s own-goal allowed Steve Komphela’s side to extend their unbeaten run to ten consecutive games in the Premiership and Mosimane believes that the one mistake was the only difference between the two sides.
“That’s it, nothing else. What else? What else? That was it, we scored an own goal. It was unfortunate because Bangaly had a great game until he made an own goal,” Mosimane said after the game.
“I mean that’s it, what else? Who was in control of the game. We lost to a very very good Kaizer Chiefs team. We lost to a very good team. “
Sundowns have now gone four games without a win in the league, but Mosimane is not panicking.
“Ya but it’s not the end of the day I mean there is still time. These things do happen unfortunately we scored an own goal and maybe that’s the only way they can beat us hey?” he added.
“Ya it was one of them but it’s not the only one. I don’t want to talk I’m upset. Because of the securities were charging us. And the next thing you know what’s gonna happen. Pitso doesn’t accept the defeat.
“I accept the defeat. I went to shake Steve’s hands it’s no problem but when Chiefs let there securities charge at us,” he concluded.
