Pirates working hard to fix things, says Matlaba

Orlando Pirates defender Thabo Matlaba has admitted that the club are committed to improving their form after a winless streak in the Premiership that extends to 12 matches.

The Sea Robbers are flirting with the relegation zone and the left-back has revealed that they are hard at work in trying to find a solution to the problems.

Bucs lost their last league match 3-2 to Free State Stars and will face Ea Lla Koto again on Saturday in the Nedbank Cup.

“We have not been doing well but we have been working hard to fix things and will do our best to win on Saturday,” Matlaba told reporters.

“We are conceding soft goals but we are working hard to fix that.

“This is a big team and we need to win games. We can’t drop points like this.

“We’re not in a better position so it is frustrating. We are professional and are trying our best to forget about the losses.”
