Kaizer Chiefs look to have completed their first signing of the season after Teenage Hadebe confirmed that he is on his way to Naturena.
The Siya crew reported recently that the player’s move to Chiefs was imminent after a move was agreed in principle and now the player himself has reportedly announced his own transfer.
Hadebe, 22, has been plying his trade for Chicken Inn in Zimbabwe, but impressed Steve Komphela while on trial last year and has long been linked with a move to Johannesburg.
He told newsday.co.zw, “I am leaving tomorrow (today), but today (yesterday), I am travelling to Harare to meet my manager (Gibson Mahachi) before I depart for South Africa from there.”
Chiefs begin the pre-season on Thursday and Hadebe could well be one of the several new faces at the club when they reconvene ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
