Teko Modise’s business manager Jazzman Mahlakgane says the former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder could have a team as early as today if all goes well in their meetings.
After parting ways with the 2016 CAF Champions League winners, Cape Town City FC and Bidvest Wits are believed to have shown interest in the former Bafana Bafana captain
Mahlakgane has already engaged a number of teams since his 34-year-old client was released from Sundowns.
“There’s been some interest, but its early days, but there are meetings that are happening,” Mahlakgane told KickOff.com.
“I’m not gonna hide and make it sound like it’s nothing, but I always prefer to talk about it when it’s already done because you must understand that there is an expectation after every option so when that relation doesn’t happen it kills a player.
“So, there are opportunities that we are entertaining and one of them is tonight [Saturday] and if it happens Teko will be having a club by tomorrow [Sunday].”
