Bolt to become a professional soccer player

The world’s fastest man, and eight-time Olympic gold medallist, Usain Bolt is known for his love for football, and it seems his dream of signing for a club has finally come true just weeks after he trained with Mamelodi Sundowns. Can you guess which club it is?

The Jamaican sprinter, who was expected to undergo trials with Borussia Dortmund in March, has frequently expressed his desire to put pen to paper and sign for a football club.

His love for the beautiful game is so prominent that he landed up turning out in a celebrity/legends match for his favourite club Manchester United, and he also recently took part in a training session with Sundowns.

The 31-year-old took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal that he had agreed terms with a team, and that the club will be revealed on Tuesday this week.

It remains to be seen which club has agreed terms with Bolt, or if he is pulling a prank on his followers, but if it he has signed a contract, it could very well be a PUMA sponsored team, as they are his personal sponsors.

Perhaps it is Sundowns? Or maybe Arsenal – but would the ardent United fan sign for one of their rivals? Whoever it is, we will definitely stay tuned for the update on Tuesday!
