Five Players Set To Make Their Return To Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns currently have several players set to return to the Chloorkop-based club at the end of the current 2017/18 campaign.

The Brazilians noticeably bolstered their squad in the previous January transfer window, however, not without having to send some players out on loan, in order to ensure that they will be getting in the needed game-time.

Here are five of Sundowns’ first team players who will make their return to the Chloorkop-based club.

Rheece Evans:

Evans has been on an 18-month loan stint with Ajax Cape Town, with his spell set to come to an end on June 30.

The 27-year-old has been a regular in the Urban Warriors’ starting line-up when fit, however, recently suffered a groin injury which has kept him out of action since December.

Siyanda Zwane:

Zwane completed his loan move to Ajax during the January transfer window this year, shortly after he had his stay with Sundowns extended to until, at least, the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

The 32-year-old has been key for the Urban Warriors, playing in every encounter since his arrival. However, Zwane is set to make his return to Sundowns at the end of his loan spell on June 30.

Thela Ngobeni:

Ngobeni, who has seen no game-time with Sundowns in the 2017/18 campaign, recently made his return on loan to Free State Stars but will be returning to the Tshwane giants at the end of June.

Fares Hachi:

The Algerian is currently on loan at Chippa United until the end of the current 2017/18 campaign.

Yannick Zakri:

Zakri, who has been influential for Ajax when fit, will also be making his return to Sundowns at the end of his loan spell on June 30 this year.

Now, it remains to be seen whether any of the above-mentioned clubs will look to extend the stay of their respective on loan players.
