Kaizer Chiefs now have a head coach in Giovanni Solinas, and they still have plenty of transfer targets that they’re chasing before next month’s PSL deadline.
Take a look at some of Chiefs’ remaining targets in the gallery above
The club has already snapped up the likes of Khama Billiat and Virgil Vries and the Glamour Boys are still in the market to bolster the team further going into the 2018/19 campaign, with fans looking for them to improve after three trophyless campaigns.
The Siya crew has already reported about Chiefs’ interest in players such as Mosa Lebusa – also a target for Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates – and Bongani Khumalo, while other players such as Tendai Ndoro, Jody February, Bangali Keita, Amr Gamal and Lebohang Maboe have also attracted their attention.
There are still around six weeks left before the South African transfer window slams shut, and club management will be waiting to hear from their new coach with regards to what areas he thinks should be added to going forward, especially with the new season due to get underway on August 4th.
Alongside Billiat and Vries, Chiefs have also signed Letlhogonolo Mirwa and Andriamirado Andrianarimanana – though he is yet to arrive at the club – and it is understood that club management is relatively happy with the squad that they have now put together.
That being said, Chiefs are in the market for new players as we speak, although after already spending big money on Billiat and brought in Solinas, it is unknown what sort of transfer budget they will now be working with.
