Juventus fires Maurizio Sarri and replaces him with Andrea Pirlo. 10 days ago Andrea Pirlo was hired as the new Juventus under 23 coach. I think after Maurizio Sarri was eliminated from the champions league the clube decided to fire him even if he won the Italian Serie A it was not enough to save his job.

Maurizio Sarri is a 61 year old and now he is without a job , an Italian professional football manager. He was not given enough time they hired him in 2019 and they just fired him this year. Maurizio Sarri is not a coach who played football professionally like Andrea Pirlo but he has achieved a lot in his coaching career.
Juventus just need the champions league nothing else once you fail to get it them they show you a red card. Do not fool yourself that Andrea Pirlo is going to last for so long as their coach. The only way he can last is when he wins for the a champions league trophy.
Andrea Pirlo was only given two years on his contract which will expire in 2022.
Juventus stated that the decision to promote him is “based on the belief that Pirlo has what it takes to lead from his debut on the bench, an expert and talented squad to pursue new success”.
“The decision for Pirlo was very natural, in the Juventus style, because he is someone who played for us, has always been in contact with everyone here and it felt natural,” said Juventus’ chief football officer Fabio Paratici.
“We also believe he is pre-destined for greatness. He was as a player and we are confident he can do the same as a coach.”
Andrea Pirlo is still very young he is just 41, now he must work very hard to keep his job because he is being trusted with a big club yet he has no much experience in the coaching domain. The statement above proves that Juventus believes in him and they trust that he is going to do a good job.
