The reason why Kwesta will no longer be performing at clubs revealed. A little about Kwesta from Wikipedia “Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi, better known by his stage name Kwesta, is a South African rapper and songwriter. He was born in Katlehong, Gauteng, a township also known as K-One. He is currently signed to his own Independent and media company known as Rap Lyf with co-founder Kid X.”
As a celebrity after making your name it is easy to take big difficult decisions as Kwesta did.
Sometimes you can choose what you want if you are a big brand and not much controlled by companies signed you .
what I mean there was a scenario where by Kanye West was sued by EMI but he managed to settle the issue with them .
“Kanye West has reached a settlement with music publisher EMI over his record deal. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, ‘Ye and EMI have informed the court of their deal, which will bring an end to the lawsuits filed by both parties.”
“I decided to stop performing at clubs because the clubs cannot setup the type of show that I want to give. It’s too small to set everything up so I’ve decided to stop doing those kind of gigs all together. I want give everyone a show they deserve, unless the club can provide that type of setup,” Kwesta said.
“I actually do more shows outside of the club than in the club. And I have my own things going on right now they can catch me at the three day event as well as Fact Durban Rocks this weekend. There’s a lot of places outside of the club where people can see me.” Kwesta said.
