Kaizer Chiefs Players Who Are Going To Miss Ernst Middendorp
Kaizer Chiefs Players Who Are Going To Miss Ernst Middendorp. Kaizer Chiefs fired the head coach Ernst Middendorp then the following day also the assistant coach was fired.
The coach was fired and it is obvious not a good thing for everyone at Kaizer Chiefs but still there are those who are going to benefit from the situation.
Change comes with a lot of things if you can look into it, players like Daniel Akpeyi are of course not happy because he really benefited from Mr. Ernst Middendorp’s time.
Khama Billiat and Khune did not enjoy Mr. Ernst’s time because they spent much of the time not playing so other players were given a chance.
Khama and Khune are players Mr. Ernst was supposed to build the team on but he did not do it. That is my opinion but he also saw things in a different way.
This is one of the lineups Ernst preferred the most
Kaizer Chiefs FC : 40. Akpeyi, 39. Frosler, 4. Cardoso, 3. Mathoho, 20. Sasman, 5. Agay, 21. Manyama, 6. Baccus, 11. Billiat, 7. Kambole, 9. Nurkovic.
What we have to understand is that only 11 players can play on the field but people will tell you this player should play and this one also but remember that there is a player who is supposed to sit.
If it comes to team selection we cannot blame much the coach especially if he did not buy them.
“After reviews conducted by Kaizer Chiefs Chairman Kaizer Motaung and the club’s management, Amakhosi have decided to part ways with coach Ernst Middendorp with immediate effect” The statement from #Amakhosi4Life on Twitter .
A day after that statement then there was a new statement which confirmed the firing of Bartlett.
“Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung, the board of directors and the club’s management would like to further announce that they have agreed to an early termination of assistant coach Shaun Bartlett’s contract,” read a statement from the club.
“The decision to release Bartlett follows that of Amakhosi and head coach Ernst Middendorp going their separate ways yesterday.”
