Kaizer Chiefs player Leonardo Castro still in Colombia. If Castro is missing then Amakhosi will have some stress if it comes to the striking force.
“We’ve got Leo Castro who is still in Columbia and can’t do his rehab yet after his operation – he is totally immobile at the moment. So that (recovery) is way down the road,” explained Baxter, which means Chiefs have limited options upfront.
“Then we have Zuma who is jogging, being at that phase of his rehab and Siya, who is doing exactly the same. He’s had a very bad one and is jogging but still limping. He is not available anytime soon,” the coach said.
“Lebo (Manyama) is back in normal training and we are managing Keagan (Dolly) to see how much he can play. We are also managing Khama (Billiat) because he played a couple of times for the national team (Zimbabwe), so I am guessing he is fully integrated into the squad again now. Brandon also had a little tweak, but he has trained this week and we will see how that goes. We are always susceptible to injuries before the game, but at this moment that’s what we’ve got.”
