Fuel price may hit R100 a litre in South Africa. First of all petrol in South Africa is expensive than in other neighbouring countries like Botswana , Swaziland and Lesotho.

Yes there is an estimation of R40 a litre but you know things might change to worse then you will hear a different story.

If petrol prices hit R100 a litre that will force a lot of people to switch to other means like walking or bicycles. Public transport is going be very expensive and food prices will go high also , for example bread might cost you R23.

If the situation in Ukraine do not stop then expect our lives to become more complicated.Already in Europe the prices for gas went high because most of European countries depend on Russian gas.

Do you think that will happen ?
