While the on-screen friendship of Shoniqua Shandai and Meagan Good in Harlem has garnered much appreciation, the friendship extends to offscreen too. They are pals since way before Harlem got on-screen. It all began in 2015 and over time the bond of friendship has only gotten stronger. Talking with POPSUGAR, Shoniqua praised Meagan and described her as the “most kind person” she’s ever met in her “entire life.”
Shoniqua further added that “In 2015, my friend was on set with [Meagan], and he knows how much I love her. She gave him a video saying, ‘Hello, Shoniqua. I can’t wait to meet you, I wish you were here, we are going to work together.’ 2015.” Both the actresses played a close aide to each other in a highly appraised comedy show Harlem. The on-screen friendship between Shoniqua and Meagan was especially praised.
