Kaizer Chiefs must be patient with Gavin Hunt.
“Patience is key and I think Gavin needs time, he has a new technical team, well he has ‘Sheppy’ (Dillon Sheppard) there and the other coaches that is with him. I think that Gavin still needs to learn the culture of that club. Its not easy being at a big club but I think what hampered a lot of Gavin’s plans was the ban to sign players. I think if he got what he wanted at the club in terms of the type of players, I think we would be talking a different story now,” Lewis told the Siya crew.
“At the moment it’s disappointing from Chiefs players. I think when you are such a big club, and I know that the players are trying their best, but for me, honestly, they need to just win the rest of their games and play as well as they can, so they are not released next season and then from next season you can build, because I don’t see them achieving anything this year,” he added.
