“I think it is like it is. I mean, success takes time. With the team that coach Pitso has there, and always building and looking at their success in Africa – winning the Caf Champions League and still maintaining that performance and possibly some results and those kinds of things,” Morris told Goal.
“Yes, it’s difficult because they have a lot of different competitions that they are playing in, and they have to cancel some of the league games because of Champions League.”
“I think they are [the best team in South Africa] and they still have the depth in the squad and a balanced team. Hopefully, they can maintain that going forward,” he said.
“I think there are no two ways about [that Mosimane is the best]. I mean, he has proven it compared to all the other coaches in the PSL with their records to his record,” Morris added.
It is widely regarded today that the current Mamelodi Sundowns team are the best football side in the South Africa ,possibly the greatest since 2012.
Denis Onyango is a fine goalkeeper, though not the best. He is certainly inferior to his counterpart at Kaizer Chiefs , the great Itumeleng Khune . What Denis Onyango possess however, is a certain doggedness. His feet are sometimes unreliable, but he nevertheless does what all Mamelodi Sundowns players are taught to do. He passes the ball.
Sundowns FC is so good because they believe in playing beautiful attractive football unlike the defensive counter-attacking football played by other teams in PSL .They believe there is a way football is to be played and they do that.
