There are many factors which caused the loss but we are going to mention only those which are critical and we hope that the coach do not repeat them.

- Poor team selection. First of all the team selection was very wrong , I don’t believe Stuard Baxter was supposed to select the team he selected. I will not mention names but if you know you know.
- Wrong positioning of the players. Some players were told to play in the positions where they don’t perform to their best ability.
- Luck of confidence from some Kaizer Chiefs players. Some of Kaizer Chief players did not show that they were mentally fit to play that game so there were no self confidence in some of them.
- Lebo’s penalty. Someone must tell Lebohang Manyama that you cant lose a penalty kick in a game like that. If he scored that goal maybe things were going to be different.
- Wasted chances. Chiefs wasted a lot of chances especially in the first half of the game. If they used those chances well it was going to another story.

Yes Kaizer Chiefs lost yesterday’s game and it was their first loss in the season but I don’t believe they are going to lose a lot of games this season as last year. I think we forget that Mamelodi sundowns is also a big team so losing to it is not a big deal.

“If it was me and I was on the field, if I was one of the players, I would have pushed Lebo away because he’s only just back at his first game from injury and I don’t think it was fair to give him that responsibility, if it was me on the field.
“But Lebo is a character and Lebo gets on the ball and feels ‘I would score this’.”
