President Iván Duque hailed Otoniel’s capture in a televised video message.

It’s not a war on drugs. It’s a war to control drugs: who gets to grow drugs, who gets to process drugs, who gets to sell drugs, and who gets to consume drugs.
It’s similar to the war on terrorism: it’s really about controlling proxy rebels & puppet governments, while getting rid of independent rebels and sovereign governments.
