Gabadinho Mhango’s fight with Samir Nurkovic is far from over. The Premier Soccer League Golden Boot is an annual association football award presented to the leading goalscorer in the Premier Soccer League. Talking about this season, we’re approaching the Feb and I think the top three contenders would be
- Gabadinho Mhango ( No defense is too good for this guy at the moment. He just doesn’t go away. With 12 goals already before Feb and the fast free flowing style of his team, Orlando Pirates , Gabadinho Mhango now looks like one of the top contenders for this year’s award).
Samir Nurkovic ( Samir has been in good form this season and finds himself second with 10 goals on the scoring charts nearly halfway through the season. He could go on to win the award considering he is the main man at a fairly consistent club with the in-form . Plus he is pacy and strong at the same time).
Bongi Ntuli ( He had a tough start to the season but has picked it up a bit recently. He may not be the favorite as of now but he is the main man at AmaZulu FC and he can turn it on in the long run. After all there is still half the season to go).
Peter Shalulile – He has highly contributed to Highlands Park‘s little success this season.
Given how this particular season is going, I won’t be surprised if things change and I look stupid at the end of the season because this is the most unpredictable season I have ever seen.
You know it is Impossible to accurately predict, but an intriguing thing to track throughout the season.
After the start Nurkovic has had to the season I have to put him fairly well up there. Most of his goals are inside the 6 yard box, not to take anything away from him. If he keeps finding those positions he will keep scoring.
The fight is still going on Gabadinho Mhango will make things very difficult to Samri Nurkovic whom we though that he will win the boot .
