Katsande to leave Kaizer Chiefs after 10 years at Amakhosi. It is painful but there is nothing we can do about it . It is very sad that anything in life has and end. They have benefited a lot from Katsande’s services and also the player was given a platform to shine. Remember in south Africa if you don’t play for Kaizer Chiefs , Orlando Pirates or Sundowns just know that you were playing for a small team.

Willard Katsande was born in Zimbabwe on the 15 January 1986 in a place called Mutoko. Katsande in his days was one of the best Midfielders in The Premier Soccer League. Katsande is now 35 and am sure you know is soccer that age is when most teams start dropping players.

Katsande helped the club win a number of trophies , including two league titles, the MTN8 and the Nedbank Cup – all between 2013 and 2015 and also he helped them reach the caf Champions League finals this year. Katsande’s contract expired in June so anytime from now we might get official announcement from Amakhosi about his departure.
