Mamelodi Sundowns updates South Africa about coach Pitso’s contract . Coach Pitso Mosimane’s contract issues has been the topic for so long and a lot of people have been waiting to hear if he signed or he is going to leave the club . But most of the news we have been getting from different sources never specified when the coach is going to sign the new contract with sundowns .
Mamelodi Sundowns management is aware of all the things the media reports to people on the mater ,that is why the released the statement below .
“Mamelodi Sundowns has observed over several months the speculation and the false statements concerning several issues including the contract of Pitso Mosimane,” the statement read.
“It is the policy of Mamelodi Sundowns not to respond or to comment on speculation or false statements.
“In line with the policy and culture of Mamelodi Sundowns, announcements on any matter which is important to the club, including Pitso Mosimane’s contract, will be made when the club deems it appropriate.”

“Negotiations are still where they were‚ there is 20% left,” said Mosimane, as quoted by TimesLIVE.
“It is about principle and not money‚ trust me it is not about money. I am not playing around and saying money… its principle.
“It is important that Sundowns are happy and I am happy and if you ask the Sundowns management they will tell you it is not about money. If Sundowns grants me those things (the 20% stalling the negotiations)‚ we are almost there.”
“I love this team and I want to stay. I built this team, but this thing must go both ways‚ the club is at the stage where they can get any coach they want,” he added.
“They can even get a better and bigger coach because the team is big. They had Barcelona legends here in Johan Neskeens and Hristo Stoichkov‚ I am not going to fool myself because I know that they can get a better coach.
