Manchester United 2 – 1 Brighton . Mason Greenwood and and Macus Rashford helped United beat Percy Tau’s Brighton yesterday night. But former Manchester United player Welbeck opened the scoring in the 13th minute making it difficult for United to enjoy the game.
“When he gets those goals, we know he’s going to add another dimension to his game,” said Solskjaer.
“The world nowadays is so on to stats and this and that.
“The boy has played fantastically [during] the last two or three months and has really come on. If he keeps learning and improving he will score more – he’s a lethal finisher.”
: “It’s always difficult to play Brighton. We have had good results and we’ve had to earn them the hard way – we managed to find a way in the second half.
“Mason [Greenwood] was mature. Today he was one of our brightest players. He was clean, he was tidy and he got the goal. It’s a header inside the six-yard box and that’s what we need more from Mason.”
On picking Henderson over De Gea: “I’ve got two great keepers, two number ones. David de Gea spent a while back home and then he had internationals so he hadn’t played for about a month. He’ll definitely play football for us again.”
