Most goals in the Absa Premiership (2010 to 2019) . Some people say these numbers are disappointing because in some leagues some players score the same numbers in a year .

Khama Billiat – 66 Lehlohonolo Majoro – 59 Siyabonga Nomvethe – 50 Collins Mbesuma and Bongi Ntuli – 49 Bernard Parker – 45 Sibusiso Vilakazi – 43 Eleazar Rodgers – 42 Kermit Erasmus – 41 Rodney Ramagalela and Ndumiso Mabena – 40.

The most goals scored in a specified period is 1,279 by Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Brazil) (b. 23 Oct 1940), known as Pelé, from 7 Sep 1956 to 1 Oct 1977 in 1,363 games. His best year was 1959 with 126, and the Milésimo (1000th) came from a penalty for his club Santos at the Maracanã Stadium, Rio de Janeiro, on 19 Nov 1969 when playing his 909th first-class match. He later added two more goals in special appearances.

You can also see below and compare with the PSL .

The contenders for the Premier League golden boot are:

  1. Sergio Agüero

One of the finest strikers to play in the Premier League, he looks set to score 20+ goals in the Premier League again. Aged 30, he will look to achieve a landmark 200 goals in the Premier League in his stint with Manchester City. He has scored 21 goals in 2018–19. He is the current active top scorer in the League with 164 goals to his name.

  1. Harry Kane

Scored 17 goals last season and looks to score more goals to breach the 20 goal mark which he missed due to injuries hampering his involvement for Tottenham Hotspur FC and also help in their title aspirations.

  1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Joint top scorer along with Salah & Mané, the Gabonese striker will look to win the golden boot for Arsenal FC and himself. Scored 22 goals in his first full season in the League.

  1. Mo Salah

Joint top scorer last Season, the Egyptian is an important attacking cog in Jürgen Klopps Liverpool. He will look to win his second golden boot and also win the Premier League title with Liverpool FC.

  1. Sadio Mané

Joint top scorer last season, the Senegalese forward will look to improve upon his record and also win his first golden boot.

  1. Jamie Vardy

Aged 32, this might be the last opportunity for the English forward to win the Golden Boot. He will look to make the most of this opportunity and Leicester also have the players who can help Vardy in achieving this.

So if we compare that to our PSL strikers it shows that we have to really work hard .
