“We miss all the players who’ve been out injured this season, especially when you’re looking for chemistry,” Zwane said.
“We started the season hoping, at this juncture, to be clearer in terms of our identity, but we’ve had lots of injuries to key players and suspensions.”
“We’ve had to chop and change players, something that’s made our season rather unfortunate because I feel it’s the most difficult season since I’ve been here,” he continued.
“Some of the injuries took place at training, then in some games you lose two players which becomes a factor in our consistency.
“It’s been the story of our season, but we can’t dwell on that. We need to come up with a new plan and solution.”
“Losing all the time before the derby counts for nothing because the match is a different ball game,” Zwane said.
“We all know that you can’t rely on history because it’s all about how we’re going to apply ourselves and what Pirates will bring to the table.
“It’s not going to be an easy game, but the best team will win on the day, especially the one that creates the most chances.
“There’s no doubt that Pirates have been doing well and they’re oozing confidence.”
“You also can’t rely on what you’ve done in the past. Yes, we’ve won those games and that talks to preparations and how we got them right,” Zwane said.
“I can understand when they say we’ll be facing a different Orlando Pirates, so the only thing I can say is that only time will tell.”

“I will not say it is a worrying factor,” said Hlanti when asked about it during a media conference at Naturena on Wednesday morning.
“But all in all, I think it is always a team effort. We make mistakes in the game and we try to rectify and at the end of the day we need to soldier on and be positive.”
