Is it true that any club with Billiat Khama can win the league?
The current era of South African league soccer is dominated by Billiat Khama :But before it was Club Bruge’s Percy Tau and Kaizer Chief’s Khama. The two nemeses have scooped some individual award over the past seasons before Percy went overseas , and despite their changing of teams , they show no signs of slowing down. It seems like Khama Billiat has no competition ever since Percy Tau left ,no player is challenging Khama .
Khama Billiat is not only an incredible scorer and gifted playmaker, he also makes everyone around him a better player. Kaizer Chiefs is on the top of the table and I believe Khama Billiat has contributed a lot on the team’s achievements . Khama Billiat can send his colleagues on dangerous runs with pin-point passes. This versatility makes him that much better than any player in the PSL.
When a club’s talisman is out of action for any period of time, the entertainment value, team dynamic and mood generally alters.
Perhaps with Amakhosi more so than any other club given how integral the Zimbabwean is to almost every aspect of play.
It’s easy to see why so many supporters are convinced that Amakhosi are becoming reliant on Khama Billiat and the early evidence seems to corroborate their suspicions. I cannot just imagine Kaizer Chiefs without Khama Billiat , I believe his absence can be as damning as the difference between victory and defeat. If it could happen that Khama Billiat leaves Kaizer Chiefs , it would be a great test to the team to prove that they aren’t ‘Billiat Khama FC” and show that with or without him they can win games.
