Itumeleng Khune if he joins Orlando Pirates it will be a very good Idea. How does it feel to be benched ?
It depends on the situation, and by that i mean your current relationship with the manager, players or the club in general. You could be benched to be given a rest – you’d probably be okay with that because every player needs a rest once in a while.
You could be benched because you’ve been playing very poorly – most of the time this means you’re close to losing your spot on the team, or you’ve already lost it so in this case you’ll probably feel like you have messed up big time, and depending on your mindset, turn your focus towards improving your game.
You could also be benched because you’re not on good terms with the manager or other players in the team, in which case, you either make attempts to to fix your relationships or you remain a bad egg in the team and subsequently leave, or be forced to leave.
Based on the situation at Kaizer Chiefs where by Daniel Akpeyi seems to be replacing Itumeleng Khune without most of us noticing , I think Khune must move to Orlando Pirates . Why not Mamelodi Sundowns ? Well we believe that if it comes to good goalkeepers Mamelodi Sundowns they have a couple of them but pirates does not have any keeper who can be compared to Itu .
Itumeleng Khune would be an excellent improvement for Orlando Pirates . He is not too young and got great experience in the Premier Soccer League.
Though Orlando’s current keeper is not doing a bad job, but Khoza loves new big name signings to sell shirts. And if they play well, too, then double bonus.
Khune would make more money for the club and himself too , he is practically guaranteed a starter role, which he lost at Kaizer Chiefs already .
