Well the question is very broad and it does not have a very straight forward answer no mater how good they are there going to be always criticism from the fans based on their point of view.
The team and the fans can like a player and vote for him a million times but if the coach in charge feels like he is not the type he wants to include in the team that player will never succeed under that coach I think that is clear.

Both Khune and Daniel are recognized as established international goalkeepers. That is why it has been very difficult for people to chose who should hold the Kaizer Chiefs number one shirt going into the 2020/21 campaign.
Some people think Daniel has had a fantastic couple of years at Amakhosi and they think eventually he will end up as Kaizer Chiefs number one.
But he is got the best goalkeeper in the Country to tip off his place and, for me, Itumeleng Khune is still the best in the psl and it is very difficult to compare him to any other goalkeeper in the South African Premier Soccer League.
Off Form Issues And Wrong Judgment
The thing is that some players go off form and they get Judged but It shouldn’t be forgotten that Ituemeleng Khune is only 33 years old. If he is able to rediscover his best form, he could theoretically be Amakho’s first-choice stopper for at least another six years.
