Katlego Maboe’s baby mama, Monique Muller, returns to bite him again.
It’s been a while since Katlego Maboe last made headlines for scandalous reasons. The television personality appeared to have put his past drama with his ex-girlfriend, Monique Muller, behind him when he was announced as the host of SABC3’s new game show, ‘Deal or No Deal.’ Despite their frosty relationship, the couple shares a son, ensuring they will always be connected in some way.
However, tensions seemed to reach a breaking point this week when Muller took to her Instagram Stories to accuse Maboe of refusing to pay their child’s school fees. In a series of Instagram Stories, she alleged that the TV host earns significantly more than she does but refuses to fulfill his financial responsibilities as a father. She began by questioning if there were other six-figure-earning fathers who refused to support their children’s education.

Muller accused Maboe of feigning poverty when it came to providing for their child. In a jesting tone, she suggested, “Maybe ‘Deal or No Deal’ can contribute some funds. LOL. I can share the school’s banking details. Or perhaps his fans would be willing to donate?” The public figure and advocate for women’s rights didn’t stop there; she also shared screenshots of text messages between herself and Maboe’s current partner, where the conversation turned personal. ‘Jessica’ accused her of portraying herself as a struggling mother. Muller also reminded Maboe’s fans that, even after paying legal fees and being a single mother, she still felt subjected to “financial abuse in maintenance court.”
Despite these allegations, the ‘Deal or No Deal’ host still enjoys support from a devoted fan base, regardless of his alleged mistreatment of Muller in the past.
Regarding the allegations, when IOL Entertainment reached out to Maboe, he declined to comment, stating, “I cannot engage in a social media battle where I have to defend myself. My primary concern is protecting my child.”
However, the crux of the matter is that if Muller’s accusations are accurate and Maboe is indeed neglecting his financial obligations to their son, the ultimate loser in this conflict is their child.”
