In a recent turn of events, he appears to have taken action regarding a negative tweet posted by his social media manager. Concurrently, he finds himself contending with rumors involving his wife, Marjorie Bridges, purportedly engaged in infidelity.
On Friday evening, the 66-year-old Harvey posted a video clip that suggested he had dismissed his social media manager in response to a tweet that took a critical stance on comedians. The tweet had requested followers to identify a comedian who doesn’t make them laugh. Harvey expressed his bewilderment at the situation, stating, “An individual on my Twitter team issued a statement that was overtly negative. I bear the responsibility since they are part of my team. However, the content revolved around asking to name an unfunny comedian. Why on earth would I initiate something of that sort?” Harvey questioned. “It simply lacks all logical coherence. My entire brand revolves around motivation, so why would I make such a statement? You can’t gauge where these young individuals are in their careers. They might be in the midst of building themselves up or something of the sort. I am firmly committed to promoting positivity; I would never engage in something like that.”
Harvey directly addressed the employee in question, who indicated a need for increased engagement, prompting the comedian to jest that someone is now in need of new “employment.”
Following this, a barrage of false reports began circulating, suggesting that Bridges was considering divorce after being allegedly involved in an extramarital affair with their chef and bodyguard.
Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian businessman who characterized himself as a friend of Harvey’s, swiftly dispelled these cheating rumors, revealing that Harvey himself had assured him that these allegations were baseless.
