Here is the reason why Billiat Khama did not sign with Orlando Pirates.

One of the key players of Kaizer Chiefs could have been playing for Orlando Pirates today. In fact, Khama had the opportunity to join Orlando  Pirates  but did not and here is  the reason why.

Khama Billiat is undoubtedly one of the best players in South Africa and even on the African continent . In Kaizer Chiefs he is definitely a key player, along with his country man  Willard Katsande . He seems to be very happy in naturena, where he has already won the hearts of people who follow Kaizer Chiefs. The Zimbabwean  also has an incredible popularity rating in his current club.

However, with his crazy talent, Khama Billiat the PSL’s Cristiano Ronaldo  has the ideal profile to wear the great jersey of Orlando Pirates. Unsurprisingly, the striker of Amakhosi had already been targeted by the Buccaneer club when he was still in Mamelodi Sundowns. Orlando Pirates coach Rulani Mokwena  who was by that time the assistant coach explained why Khama did not sign with the Buccaneers despite the fact that he had the opportunity .

“We tried to sign Khama but decided in the last minute not to sign him. We were very close to bringing Khama to the black and white, but we decided on protecting the changing room,” said Mokwena.

“The ratio between the expense, not just the salary, but with regards to injuries and other factors, and the profit we would get … we thought it did not make sense. So, it’s not that Pirates lost out on the race to sign Khama, Pirates decided not to sign Khama.”

Everybody knows Orlando Pirates is struggling now ever since micho sredojevic left them to join zamalek of Egypt , do you think if Khama was at Orlando Pirates the situation was going to be better in terms of Pirates performance?
